Malcolm Thorne offers a blend of startup, operational, private equity and corporate executive experience. He has been the CEO of two automotive software startups: Automotive Directions and AutoStyleMart. Malcolm was an executive at Fortune 1000 CDK Global for six years, running its global data and analytics business as well as Global Marketing, Strategy, M&A and Product Management. Malcolm has served as an adviser to private equity firms Advent International and Vista Equity Partners.
Malcolm has master’s degrees in marketing research and system analysis and design and an undergraduate degree in marketing all from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Malcolm is an alumnus and current board member of the A.C. Nielsen Center for Marketing Insights and Analytics at the University of Wisconsin.
